Galina Ustvolskaya – Symphonies 2, 3, 4 & 5
1999 | label: Megadisc | classical/avant-garde | APE lossless | cuesheets+log | covers | 158mb

I almost decided to upload the wav of this album, not the compressed ape. Now, I really cannot hear a difference between the wav and the ape, but I thought, perhaps I can see it? So I took it to the test, decompressed the ape file again and compared wav processing graphics of wav and ape.
They were identical.
Of course you’ll laugh at my naïve audiological research and say these graphics in nero’s or eac’s wav editors have nothing to do with the actual loss of data; it won’t show up there.
That’s most likely, I don’t know. Perhaps somebody else knows a way to visually prove the difference between a wav and a compression, let him please tell me how.

Anyway, this album sounds very good.
When Ustvolskaya says, “BWAHMM!!!”, you know what to expect.
Label metadisc doesn’t mean to disappoint you and gives you exactly that: “BWAHMM!!!”.
No need to elaborate on that, I’d say.

When uploading was almost done I saw I’d forgotten to include log and backcover. They’re here:
