End of 2009, he released his fourth electronic longplayer under the name Jean F. Cochois (on the first two albums just as JFC) and created a unique niche suited in the wide field of the genre Ambient/Electronic for his selection. His former releases - remixes for Enigma or Ex-Kraftwerk producer Wolfgang Flür (Yamo) amongst others - stand for new devised cliches and love for the music that lives in the details. 15 songs of an artist who walks his own ways with emotional denseness and expertly flair as regards sound and rhythm. These tracks came into being as demos, session recordings and finished tracks that have somehow been fallen into oblivion after being put on tape or CDR and stored in dusty drawers. It's a mixture of mainly electronic influence and also a bit of soul and jazz. While listening to the material again Jean F. Cochois and Mole Listening Pearls had the idea to bundle some of these within a long player. The result is "Gold In The Attic".
Jean F. Cochois - many also known by his alter ego The Timewriter - published to be here now fourth electronic album, whose musical style has created a unique niche in the broad field of the genre Ambient / Electronic. His recent publications, including remixes for others Enigma or ex-Kraftwerker Wolfgang Flür (Yamo) stand for re-conceived stereotypes and love of music that lives in the details. 15 songs by an artist who walks with emotional density and masterful flair for dealing with sound and rhythm of its own way. Made between 1999 and 2005, these 15 tracks some demos and recording sessions, some finished tracks on tape and Cdr s got into the dusty drawers somehow forgotten. A mix of mostly electronic influences but also from the fields of jazz and soul. When the material came durchh”ren Jean F Cochois the idea, the essence of the track to bring in an album context.
