On this remarkable debut, Lenya pays tribute to seclusion. Her comforting alt folk songs offer a balance between tension and safety, fear and consciousness, farewells and hope. From dreamy murmering and unexpected changes, a lively atmosphere arises, while never disconnecting with the original base of a strong, melodic song. A cinematic orchestra with billowing guitars reinforce Lenya's emphatic voice, by the direction of producer Jakob Sigmond (guitarist Blaudzun).

Lenya is the pseudonym of Rotterdam (NL) based singer/musician Julia Reinhold. She formerly took part of several indie- and rockbands as a singer, backing vocalist, pianist and accordionist.
Lenya performs live amidst a mesmering band, on electric guitar, accordion, violin and symbiotic vocal harmonies.
