Elvenefris has a remarkable style and sound, I'd describe it as 'celestial' or 'epic'. It can't quite be labeled as either technical or progressive death, since it embraces a whole array of styles, but both are part of it. Every song is full of shifting emotions, there's not one monotonous track. The vocals are very deep grunts, but they fit the music very well, either when it's on the brutal or the 'happy' side. The riffs are quite awkward, the kind you don't hear very often; possibly on a Gorguts album, although the similarity is not related to their styles, but rather to their obscureness. The drums are done by Tom Corn of Garbage Disposal and Despise, he does an incredible job here as well. The whole album is astounding, I know of very few others that could compare.
