On April 9, Niq Reefman’s latest album – A Selection of Musical Tales – will drop. Known as “Tim Minchin flying a trumpet through a thunderstorm,” Reefman is a combination of Monty Python and Cat Stevens.
Stylistically, Reefman is hard to categorize because of his many influences: jazz, folk, reggae and cabaret, all infused with comedic elements. If pressed, I would categorize him as the jazz-trumpeting, accordion-playing singer/songwriter from the Land Down Under.
