Album released in 1997 and performed by the great violinist Itzhak Perlman (Tel Aviv, 1945), considered one of the most famous of the second half of the last century and a virtuoso of his instrument. Perlman has performed during his career with large number of U.S. and European orchestras and has won five Grammy Awards for their performances. On this album departs from its usual classical repertoire to focus on music and songs from famous movies. Compositions of André Previn and John Williams conducting the Pittsburgh Orchestra serve to support this violin deployment.
