Eighth album for the label by the German virtuoso five-string bass, French Catalan origin of Renaud Garcia-Fons. A virtual journey to discover the music of the South, with a fictional protagonist flamenco, often accompanied by an outcropping and melancholy tango. Training to see how the accordion solo voices and the magnificent sound of the bass, sometimes close to the voice of the violin other than the cello. Garcia-Fons confirms major musician, great composer and author of personal and challenging projects. Flamenco, the waltz and the tango are revisited and relived: the improvisations reflect language jazz with ethnic colors and moods originals. In three passages the warm voice of flamenco singer Esperanza Fernandez sings lyrics written by the leader and inspired by the Persian mystic Rumi. The time is fast and enhance the harmony and solo skills, in particular emerge bodied sound and original bass bow. When the melody takes over it seems glamorous and charming and the vein sad antiretorica dell'accordion. They are beautiful songs (Agua Dulce, del Barco Cante), reveal the poetry and melting lyricism. The entire album is full of button passion, pace and energy, the music that characterizes the work of Renaud Garcia-Fons is vital, vibrant use of vocabulary African-American nell'improvvisazione is the thread running through the album
