Rusty McCarthy - Messin' With The Blues (2018)

With a career spanning decades Rusty has jammed and played with pop's Alannah Myles, Tom Cochrane, Blues with Jeff Healey, The Blues Brothers, Steve Strongman, Jazz with Holly Cole, Molly Johnson. His musical projects have him traveling the world, often as long time band leader with Mary Margaret O'Hara. Rusty has also played and engineered ‘Florida’ with Mary Margaret Ohara on a Michael Stipe (REM) project SWEET RELIEF 2.

After decades of being a top Toronto guitarist for hire, Rusty found time to hone his craft as a songwriter and devoting time to finding his niche in the performance world, and it's being appreciated. CBC's Fresh Air's host Mark Rheaume choose Rusty's 4th Folky CD 'Letter to Kilkenny' as an artist to watch for. His 7th CD Messing With The Blues is due to release March 2018

Rusty's Studio - Winner of the Northern Ontario Music Awards ‘ Best Engineer’ for work on Britta Wolferts “ Moonstone’.

Current house Gigs - Rusty hosts and plays both a folk and a blues night every week at the Watertower Pub that features local and touring acts.
