Don't be misled by the record cover, which attributes this disc to the Aggrovators. In fine print on the back of the jacket/jewel box, you will see the magic words "All tracks mixed by the late King Tubby 1975-1976," and "All tracks produced by Bunny Lee." This is a dub mix of a Johnny Clarke album, and Tubby (and Lee) are in fine form.
Although dub records generally lose much, if not all, of the vocal track, this one keeps Clarke's voice as a valuable part of the mix. Plus, the Aggrovators, as usual, sound great. Not essential, but a fine record indeed.
