On February 14th, 2006 Two Steps From Hell was born. This 3 CD box set features the Epic/Action, Adventure and Suspense/Drama categories. This first release displays the versatility, sophistication and range of the Two Steps philosophy. It has been described as if James Newton Howard, John Williams and Hans Zimmer got together and made a trailer library. Vol 1 covers alot of ground and is primarily an orchestral release with some other elements. There is heroic action, mini-film score, sultry drama, ethno rock, modern hybrid orchestrations , romantic themes and magical tales. The project was recorded primarily with the Seattle Symphony and the Prague Philharmonic. Many cues feature vocals by Liz Constantine (King Kong, Atlantis, Poseidon).

On September 16th, 2006 Two Steps From Hell released SHADOWS AND NIGHTMARES, unique in its artistic melding of live orchestra effects and custom sound design. This library is a high impact, 2 CD box set featuring 108 cues delivered with fierce sonic power, acoustic depth and the highest production values. The category is horror and this release features horror beds and suspenseful themes, ethereal dreamscapes, huge hits and rises, horrific nightmares, and demonic chants in grotesque languages. '1408', 'Hannibal Rising', 'First Snow', 'The Mist', 'I Am Legend', 'Untraceable', 'Sweeney Todd' and many horror films, and scores of other films with heightened suspense, feature tracks from this release.

On Feb. 28 2007, Two Steps From Hell released DYNASTY, an epic explosion from Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix, featuring The Angeles Chorale and The Capellen Philharmonic Orchestra. DYNASTY features 52 tracks on 2 cds and alternate versions and non-choral versions available on disk 3, for a total of 99 tracks. With DYNASTY, Two Steps From Hell has succeeded in raising the bar considerably, providing original material of extremely high production quality, using state of the art technology. A year in the making, this amazing collection of trailer music features the talents of well over 100 musicians from around the world, including great voice talents, ethnic instrumentalists and reknown orchestras. "I've been wanting to do a cd like this for years, but somehow I just couldn't pull it off till now. I retro-fitted my studio with a ton of analogue gear and recorded many rock tracks at Cello in Hollywood, while it was closed to the public. Most tracks do not introduce any orchestra until late in the piece, so you can go with the pure electronica/rock vibe or use the artfully done, symbiotic, electronic/ orchestra hybrid sections. Pathogen has a lot of driving electronica, but also features other-worldly rock and eerie, horror rock tracks, as well. Pathogen is set up as a listening experience, and so is not categorized. This is perhaps the most fun I've had as a composer, and the tracks are fun to listen to, as well." -Nick Phoenix
