CIMCO A/S has released an updated (version 8.03.0) to CIMCO Software / Edit 8, is a major release that delivers powerful new features, faster performance and a streamlined user experience across the entire line of CIMCO Software products.

Changes in CIMCO MDC-Max 8.03.00
- Web Client: Added shop floor view to web client. It is now possible to import drawings in SVG file format and map live screens to these maps. Shopfloor are created through the web client for users with Admin or Edit Live Screen privilegdes
- Web Client: MDC screen permissions are now enforced in the web client, controlling access to Operator screens, live screens and shopfloor views.
- Web Client: Optimize screen / machine updates to be less CPU intensive.
- Added a new button function on operator screens 'Reading JOB data from DB using SQL query'.
- Added a new option to close sub-screen when input field is submitted.
- Added PARAM2=1 in out cfg to disable feature (PARAM2=0) when 'yesterday' means previous working day.
- Added a new parameter in MDC client cfg file in section [SYSTEM] FULLSCREENTOPMOST = No|Yes.
- Added a new parameter in out cfg DEBUGINTERVALMAP = Yes|No, that generates an interval map in MDCMax\Sys\intervalmap.txt which is used for the generated report.
- Implemented a new ExternIO type 'XMLFILE' for exporting data to xml and importing data from xml file.
- Improved archiving mechanism for MSSQL versions older than 2012.
- Increased number of counters to 224.
- Fixed issue with reports when work week starts on Sunday at 22:00.
- Fixed bug with Re-fetch on MySQL introduced in V8.02.26.
- Fixed bug when monthly report was generated as a daily report introduced in V8.02.26.
- Fixed issue with timeline when during closing of a timeline MDC client could crash.
- Fixed a special case when a report is generated during last shift but on a new day (especially when is starts on Sunday or on Monday) and current time is still in during last Sunday shift.
- Fixed export of weekly timeline to pie charts when schedule is not defined for all week days (e.g.: Mo-Fri).
- Added support for user/password authentication to the OPC UA protocol. Added CNC INFO to the OPC protocol.
- Added parameters to the NETLink protocol for the custom override values.
- Added PINGTIME parameter into IO Device setup dialog in the DNC Server Config. Default value of PINGTIME was changed to 0.
