Blackmagic Design is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Davinci Resolve Studio 15 Public Beta 8. Fully built in Fusion visual effects and motion graphics, incredible new Fairlight audio tools and nearly a hundred enhancements focussed on speed and quality.

This update now lets you load and save presets in the equalizer, dynamics, FairlightFX and global track properties on the Fairlight page. The Fusion memory cache can now be configured under the playback menu and Fusion viewers can now be set to display the correct timeline color space from the Edit page. In addition, public beta 8 lets you modify the filename field on the Deliver page and features improved codec and format listings.

Added support for performing an insert operation by holding Cmd/Ctrl+Shift while dragging clips from the media pool or source viewer
Added support for an option to insert nested and compound clips in their decomposed state during edit operations
Added support for creating clip annotations for a selected clip on the timeline from the timeline viewer
Added support for processing Fusion compositions in linear gamma in color managed and ACES workflows

Addressed an issue where a render job would sometimes not render the entire timeline when the length of the timeline would change
Addressed an issue where clicking on a selected render preset would not correctly update the settings
