FunctionBay RecurDyn V9R3 SP1 Update | 2.1 Gb

The FunctionBay development team is pleased to announce the availability of RecurDyn V9R3 SP1. This release includes a variety of bug fixes and enhancements.

Main enhancements in RecurDyn V9R3 SP1

- When a start time other than 0 is used in the [Start & End Times for Output] option of Simulation Settingand the [Include Static Analysis] option is turned on, the result at 0 sec (initial result) is no longer written into animation data, plot data or other result files.
- When Rotate with Point (Y) is used, the previous center point is used if no point is specified.
- ContourA.‘Export Type’ can now be used to export ‘Contact Pressure’ or ‘Acoustics ERP’B.*.csv file exported from Contour dialog can be imported into Plot
- Improved accuracy and stability of GearKS Solver
- Faster assembly operation in the Belt, Chain, TrackLM, and TrackHMtoolkits. (If a sprocket is not included it can be 10 times faster)6)Control interface now supports Matlab2019b

FunctionBay RecurDyn V9R3 SP1 Update

RecurDyn is an interdisciplinary, computer-aided engineering (CAE) software package whose primary function is the simulation of Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD). RecurDyn simulates both rigid and flexible body dynamics by combining traditional rigid MBD with cutting-edge finite element technology for modeling flexible bodies. In addition, RecurDyn also includes a tightly-integrated controller design tool, design optimization, particle dynamics for granular materials, and durability and fatigue analysis. RecurDyn also supports co-simulation with various other computer-aided engineering software tools. RecurDyn includes a seamless co-simulation environment for coupled simulations with computational fluid dynamics solver, Particleworks from Prometech, allowing for detailed analysis of the interaction of fluids and multi-body systems.

RecurDyn comes with powerful performance improvements every year. The new V9R3 allows to better design with improved UI convenience and MFBD performance. RecurDyn's new toolkit, DriveTrain will be released as well.
