InnovMetric PolyWorks Metrology Suite 2019 IR10 | 2.8 Gb
InnovMetric Software Inc., has released intermediate release of PolyWorks 2019. This latest major release delivers new functionalities that simplify the lives of users while keeping them fully in control of their metrology processes.
Intermediate Release 10
General
- Fixed issues: Issues with the STEP CAD model importer have been fixed.
PolyWorks|Inspector
- Results have been improved when using the Maximize number of in-tolerance controls GD&T option when an extremely high deviation is calculated for a GD&T control.
- Fixed issues:
. The absolute measurement offset of features and comparison points was not correctly transformed when activating a coordinate system. The issue has been fixed.
. An error when exporting texture-mapped Reference objects has been fixed.
. Importing a slab thickness measurement from a CAD file did not create the associated GD&T control. The issue has been fixed.
. The names of point entities are now imported from IGES files.
Portable metrology plug-ins
- The new RS-SQUARED Area Scanner from Hexagon is supported through the Hexagon/Romer Absolute Arm for Scanning plug-in.
- The latest SDK has been integrated into the Nikon Metrology Laser Radar plug-in, which offers the following changes:
. Automated movements made by the Nikon Laser Radar when performing measurements for multiple objects can now be optimized. This Gauging Engine technology, offered by Nikon, automatically chooses the most efficient order to minimize measurement time.
. The MV2xx model is no longer supported.
. MCM calibrations, and transformation matrices when applicable, are now stored on Nikon Laser Radar devices with firmware version 9 or later. The history of changes made to those calibrations is also saved on the device. That information can then be managed and applied at a later time. In addition, users can specify whether the sphere material is shiny or matte and the calibration operation is adjusted accordingly.
Note that a transformation matrix can now be associated to an MCM calibration using the following command: DIGITIZE DEVICE NIKON_METROLOGY LASER_RADAR CALIBRATE MCM
The following command can then be used to activate a specific MCM calibration based on the transformation matrix: DIGITIZE DEVICE NIKON_METROLOGY LASER_RADAR CALIBRATE MCM ACTIVE USING_MATRIX
- Version 4.24.3.1 of the SDK has been integrated into the API Radian Pro (Radian) Laser Tracker plug-in
CMM plug-ins
- When using the CNC CMM plug-in, the following macro command can be used to deactivate and activate the display of the message that informs users that a tool must be manually mounted. Using this new command when the tool has already been mounted, for example when a probe has been mounted to a Kreon scanner, can avoid unnecessary pauses when executing the measurement sequence.
- PROBE DEVICE CNC OPTIONS MESSAGE MANUAL_TOOL_CHANGE SHOW [GET]
- Fixed issues: Issues when performing the tactile scanning calibration of a star stylus on LK CMMs have been fixed
PolyWorks is the first single-vendor enterprise solution that supports all your industrial manufacturing organization’s 3D measurement processes, from measurement planning by the design and manufacturing teams, to the measurement execution by the quality control team, and the enterprisewide sharing of 3D measurement data and results.
The 2019 release of the PolyWorks Metrology Suite delivers new functionalities that simplify the lives of users while keeping them fully in control of their metrology processes. With new release, users can now easily adapt PolyWorks|Inspector to their production environment by creating short scripted measurement methods.
Also proposes a novel assisted sequencing approach that automates a large part of the process. Measurement specialists simply select and add the desired measurement objects to the PolyWorks|Inspector sequence editor to automatically obtain.
Discover how to deploy PolyWorks|Inspector 2019 in any industrial manufacturing environment by integrating your in-house, proprietary measurement techniques as native PolyWorks|Inspector measurement methods. Take advantage of the enhanced GD&T toolkit. Review measurement results with an augmented real-world view of the inspected parts with PolyWorks|AR, InnovMetric’s software solution for the Microsoft HoloLens.
