MecSoft Visual CAD/CAM/3DPrint 2016 version 5.0

MecSoft Corporation, the developer of industry leading CAD/CAM software solutions, has released 5.0 version of Visual CAD/CAM/3DPRINT 2016, MecSoft's standalone additive and subtractive manufacturing software suite.

VisualCAD/CAM/3DPRINT includes two products. The first is VisualCAM, to address the traditional subtractive or CNC manufacturing market with modules VisualMILL, VisualTURN, VisualNEST, and VisualART. The other is Visual3DPRINT, a newly introduced product to address the needs of the emerging additive manufacturing market. Both of these products run completely integrated inside the VisualCAD 2016 base CAD platform . MecSoft continues to provide VisualCAD as a completely free design tool. VisualCAD along with all of the above mentioned modules of VisualCAM were significantly enhanced and improved in this 2016 release to provide customers with a seamlessly integrated complete manufacturing platform.

Rhino3DPRINT is a fully integrated, separately licensed, plug-in that runs inside the Rhinoceros 5.0 NURBS modeler. It offers efficient, easy and automatic tools for the preparation of 3D data, such as point clouds and meshes, that otherwise cannot be 3D printed. The seamless combination of Rhino’s powerful modeling and extensive file import functionality with Rhino3DPRINT’s data preparation tools enables the user to 3D print models from almost any input source and any major 3D format.
