Multiframe CONNECT Edition V21 Update 12

The MAXSURF product team is pleased to announce the availability of Multiframe CONNECT Edition V21 Update 12 (version 21.12.00.10). Multiframe helps structural experts check the structure of their vessel to comply with class requirements and optimise it for strength and weight. It can be used for deck grillage, frame, superstructure and mast strength calculations.

The main new features included in the release are outlined below:

- Trimesh manipulation tools:
It is now possible to use the full range of surface geometry tools on Trimeshes: Move; Flip; Rotate; etc.
- Intermediate damage:
The addition of a “damage case type” parameter allows users to define whether a damage case should be considered “final stage” or “intermediate stage”. This provides the option for evaluating different criteria for different stages of damage.
