PTC-2A
Our most popular plugin, the PTC-2A is a superb emulation of the legendary Pultec EQP-1A, one of the most sought-after vintage equalizers. Separate LF Boost and Attenuate controls provide the signature Pultec sounds, while, as in the original hardware, a transformer-coupled tube amplifier stage further enhances the vintage qualities. Innovative filter technology provides a genuine analogue response without requiring conventional CPU-intensive techniques.
PTH-2A
Inspired by the Pultec EQH equalizers, the PTH-2A provides a cost-effective feature subset of the PTC-2A / EQP-1A emulation. The PTH-2A uses the same filter emulation technology, providing separately adjustable LF Boost and Attenuate controls for the signature Pultec low-end sound, with three selectable frequencies.
FC70
First developed for linux audio workstations, the FC70 is now available as a Windows / Mac VST and Mac Audio Unit. The FC70 emulates the legendary smooth, effortless dynamic control and uniquely musical character of the classic Fairchild 670 limiter.
Modelled using measured data and schematics from genuine hardware, the FC70 uses a fully balanced design, combined with innovative delay-free feedback topology to emulate the original circuitry. The sidechain includes the fast attack and program dependent release settings of the original, combined with Lateral / Vertical, Independent and Linked stereo channel modes.
EQ500
Styled as a virtual 500-Series format module, the EQ500 provides adjustable high and low frequency shelves and a versatile mid-range parametric EQ. Designed as a high quality 'one in every channel' EQ plug-in for Digital Audio Workstations, the EQ500 uses our Analogue Filter Modelling algorithms to accurately replicate a natural sounding analogue filter response without requiring high sample rates or CPU intensive upsampling, allowing more plugin instances in a typical DAW.
DYN4000
Based on channel dynamics processing from one of the best-known British recording consoles, the DYN4000 comprises compressor / limiter and expander / gate sections.
The plugin includes a true RMS side-chain detector, while the compressor provides a switchable soft / hard knee characteristic, ensuring smooth onset of compression at the threshold point or more aggressive dynamics control on demand. Switchable fast attack settings are provided as is variable programme dependent release. An expander / gate section provides a 1:2 downward expander or a 1:∞ gate setting with threshold hysteresis.
DYN500
Styled as a virtual 500-Series format module, the DYN500 provides soft-knee compression coupled with gentle tape-saturation style overdrive if driven past 0dBFS. Designed as a high quality 'one in every channel' compressor / dynamics plug-in for Digital Audio Workstations, the DYN500 can be used in mono or stereo channels and is economical with CPU resources while delivering professional console grade processing.
