PTC Creo 9.0.6.0 with HelpCenter

PTC launched the updated ninth version of its Creo market-leading computer-aided design (CAD) software. Creo 9 helps engineers deliver their best product designs in less time and encourages innovation with emerging technologies such as generative design, real-time simulation and additive manufacturing.

Configuration Option to Control the Display of System Hatch Patterns in the Hatch Gallery
As a CAD administrator, you can now use the new configuration option system_patterns_in_hatch_gal to decide whether to list the Creo system hatch patterns in addition to the user created hatch patterns or hide them from the hatch gallery.
Customers wishing to use only their company approved hatch patterns in their designs, may choose to hide the Creo system hatch patterns from the hatch gallery. This enhancement enables CAD Administrators to better manage company standards across the organization.

New ISO 21920:2021 Surface Finish Symbol
New ISO standard-compliant surface finish symbol has been added to the symbol gallery.
User Interface Location: In the Surface Finish Gallery, click Annotate > Surface Finish > Gallery
New ISO 21920:2021 surface finish symbol defined according to the latest ISO standards is added to the surface finish gallery for the drawing and model-based definitions. This surface finish symbol provides improved compliance with the detailing standards.
The surface finish also include parameter tagging. When the surface finish is placed in the model environment, relevant parameters are created on the surface finish instance.

New ISO standard-compliant symbols have been added to the symbol gallery.
User Interface Location: In the Symbol Gallery, click Annotate > Symbol > Gallery
Two new symbols defined according to the latest ISO standards are added to the symbol gallery for the drawing and model-based definitions. These symbols provide improved compliance with the detailing standards.
The new symbols are:
- ISO 13715:2017—It is an edge indicator symbol.
- ISO 21204:2020—It is an transition symbol.
The symbols also include parameter tagging. When the symbols are placed in the model environment, relevant parameters are created on the symbol instance.
