VoluMill Siemens NX CAM version 8.1

Celeritive Technologies, Inc. announced the release of VoluMill 8.1, the latest version of VoluMill Ultra High-Performance Milling.

What's New in VoluMill 2016 version 8.1:

The predominant reason for the 2016 release of VoluMill is to update the version numbering system to reflect the evolving product direction at Celeritive. We have taken this opportunity to fix a number of reported bugs and to improve performance and stability. There is also a minor user interface modification, described below, to more closely align VoluMill’s terminology with that of NX CAM.

The first major step in Celeritive’s product direction is the release of VoluTurn, a new rough turning technology with a focus on solving the turning challenges associated with large parts of complex geometries turned from difficult-tomachine materials.


VoluMill Siemens NX CAM. VoluMill adds to the value of NX CAM. It adds toolpath options that NX CAM does not provide as standard, toolpaths specifically engineered to remove material quickly and efficiently while better preparing the part for finishing with NX CAM’s toolpaths. VoluMill NX Edition looks and runs like native NX CAM modules; it is well integrated and NX CAM and CAM Express users will find it easy to adopt and use. VoluMill is perfect for the airframe, automotive, mold & die, medical, machinery component, and consumer-products markets, for all roughing needs on free-form or prismatic parts.
