The Microsoft product team is pleased to announce the availability of Windows 10 version 1903 build 18362.535. This build includes all of the latest 19H1 features as well as the latest fixes included as part of KB4530684.

* Windows 10, versions 1903 and 1909 share a common core operating system and an identical set of system files. As a result, the new features in Windows 10, version 1909 were included in the recent monthly quality update for Windows 10, version 1903 (released October 8, 2019), but are currently in a dormant state. These new features will remain dormant until they are turned on using an enablement package, which is a small, quick-to-install “master switch” that simply activates the Windows 10, version 1909 features.

To reflect this change, the release notes for Windows 10, version 1903 and Windows 10, version 1909 will share an update history page. Each release page will contain a list of addressed issues for both 1903 and 1909 versions. Note that the 1909 version will always contain the fixes for 1903; however, 1903 will not contain the fixes for 1909. This page will provide you with the build numbers for both 1909 and 1903 versions so that it will be easier for support to assist you if you encounter issues.

Version 1903 of Windows Server brings enhancements around containers, edge computing and hybrid. It does not, however, deliver much in in the way of improvements around hyperconvergence or software-defined infrastructure. As a semiannual channel release, version 1903 is more focused around application scenarios that benefit from faster innovation. For those looking to access more infrastructure-based features such as Storage Spaces Direct or shielded virtual machines, Microsoft recommends Windows Server 2019.

Among the new features that are available in Windows Server version 1903 is Windows Server container support in Kubernetes, as well as "GPU acceleration in Windows containers, and scalability improvements in the latest release of Flannel and Kubernetes v1.14."

Windows 10 version 1903, May 2019 Update, is the next major release available for compatible devices starting May 21, 2019. This is the first of two feature updates coming in 2019, and it delivers several new features and improvements meant to enhance the experience.

The new version isn’t a massive update, but it’s a smaller release that includes many incremental changes and a few new features around performance, design, security, and productivity.
