A jilted photographer sets off on a mission to get back at her philandering model boyfriend and along the way discovers that not all love is created equal.

On a visit to a spa in the Ruritanian Kingdom of Tyronia, American financier Richard Gresham meets the country's ruler, King Anatol XII, and convinces him that he could arrange for a $50 million dollars in loans to benefit his impoverished nation if the king's charming daughter could do the appropriate public relations in the States. Unfortunately the Princess Catterina falls ill and is quarantined for a month aboard ship. Rather than risk losing the loan, Gresham hires out-of-work lookalike actress Nancy Lane to impersonate Catterina. Complications arise when she falls in love with investigative newsman Porter Madison, who is investigating Nancy Lane's disappearance, and she must precariously balance playing both parts convincingly with the loan and her emotions at stake.

Dick Powell stars as Haven, a government private investigator assigned to investigate the murders of two cavalrymen. Travelling incognito, Haven arrives in a small frontier outpost, where saloon singer Charlie (Jane Greer) controls all illegal activities. After making short work of Charlie's burly henchman (Guinn Williams), Haven gets a job at her gambling emporium, biding his time and gathering evidence against the gorgeous crime chieftain Cast as a philosophical bartender, Burl Ives is afforded at least one opportunity to sing.

In the tradition of Prince Valiant, the Black Knight, and King Arthur and The Knights of the Round Table, The Sword of Lancelot dwarfs them all in terms of cinematic excellence, and the performances of the leading actors. This wonderful medieval achievement is definitely recommended for those who can't get enough of Camelot.

The movie tells the story of Captain EO and the ragtag crew of his spaceship on a mission to deliver a gift to a wicked alien queen, the Supreme Leader, on her home world of rotting, twisted metal and steaming vents. Captain EO's alien crew consists of his small flying sidekick Fuzzball, the double-headed navigator and pilot Idee and Odee, robotic security officer Major Domo, a small robot Minor Domo (who fits like a module into Major Domo), and the clumsy elephant-like shipmate Hooter (Tony Cox) who always manages to blunder the crew's missions.
