Sir Winston Churchill bestrode the 20th Century. He held many political and cabinet positions including Home Secretary from 1910 and then Chancellor of the Exchequer and Secretary of State for War. However it was on 10th May 1940 when Churchill became Prime Minister and took control of Britain's war effort that he finally sealed his place in history.

This collage of rare and colorized archives offers a new, unseen before interpretation of Churchill’s character, of his handling of power and his relations with his contemporaries, to give the true measure of the most epic historical figure of his times. Also features the personal and official archives of the Churchill family kept at the Churchill College in Cambridge.
