The Team Schneider Electric (SE) is pleased to announce the availability of EcoStruxure Control Expert V15 is a unique software platform to increase design productivity and performance of your Modicon M340, M580, Momentum, Premium, Quantum and Quantum Safety applications.

What’s new in Control Expert V15

New features coming with Control Expert V15 are:
- Topology Manager (available in 2nd step : Control Expert V15.0 Service Pack 1)
. a new multi-controllers configuration environment to reduces engineering hours, commissioning and start-up time. An innovative client server architecture and central repository allow multiple users to work in parallel.
. Centralized Security Editor
- Communication Function Blocks: easy to configure and simulate PAC to PAC communication (M580 and M340)
- Improvements on DFB search
- Global Name Space
- Data Memory Protect: protect data against unwanted update (on M580 and M340)
- More data logged in Syslog
And Control Expert V15 supports Modicon range new features:
- MC80 is now by default in catalog
- BMXERT1604.2 can be used on M580 HSBY
- Monotonic time: In Safety communication, the NTP Time synchronization is improved.
- Support BMENUA V1.1
In synchronization with OFS V3.63:
- SCADA Access to variables within nested DFBs
- Display in SCADA of forced bits status (including EBOOL)

Note: firmware versions (3.20 for M580 / M580 Safety , and 3.3 for M340) and BMECRA modules is required to access new features Communication Function Blocks, Monotonic time In Safety communication and Data Memory Protect.

EcoStruxure Control Expert is the development environment for Modicon M340, M580, Premium, Momentum and Quantum controllers from Schneider Electric SE. The EcoStruxure Control Expert programming software is available from Schneider firmware version 14 onwards. This was previously known as Schneider Unity.
