Why some people achieve their goals and others don't
The practice of goal setting in life has a process that is important to follow, which includes goal setting, action scheduling and execution. Of course, there is also testing and periodic follow-up to make sure the ideas are working, but in general, goal setting includes more than just writing down some dreams.
Writing down a goal doesn't mean you're going to achieve it. It just means that it's what you want in life. But in order to achieve the goal, you must do the work necessary to achieve it. For example, if you've set a goal of writing a 100,000-word novel in the next year, you'll need to realistically estimate the time you need to accomplish your goal in the time you've set for yourself, and end up with a daily to-do list that ensures the work gets done if you do the tasks.There are many reasons why some people achieve their goals and others do not.
