    Un giro del disco durava più di un secondo: dal boccaporto del grammofono usciva la melodia, il canto. Restavo a guardare la puntina capace di leggere il solco e pure la polvere. C'entrava l'elettricità e la finestra chiusa per tenere fuori l'ammuina. E dentro la stanza avveniva lo spazio e il silenzio per farla suonare. Le canzoni come gli odori, e più della vista, affilano i ricordi. Dai solchi dei dischi comincia l'ascolto assorbente che non permette altra mossa. Niente riuscivo e riesco a fare in sua presenza. Non l'ho potuta usare a sottofondo, la musica provata.
