The book features almost 270 b&w and color images divided into the following sections: Warships, broken down by type; Weapons and Equipment; Personnel; Navies in Exile; Naval Air Power; Operations; and Victory. The Operations and Naval Air Power are the largest sections. The pix are a marvelous mixture of official shots and candids depicting ships, planes, crewmen, battle scenes, etc. The photographs are well-captioned, various experts like Antony Preston, Anthony Watts and David Brown being among the contributors.
