A Blandford Press book, this volume shows the uniforms of British and Commonwealth mounted units from 1742 to 1953 in a set of 96 full colour plates. The notes for each plate provide additional details on the uniforms, horse harness, and other items as well as some background information on the unit. Fifteen plates cover the period 1790 to 1815.
