Dominator: The Story of the Consolidated B-32 Bomber By Stephen Harding, James I. Long
Publisher: Pictorial Histories Pub Co 1984 | 58 Pages | ISBN: 0933126387 | PDF | 12 MB

In any discussion of American heavy bombers of the Second World War the aircraft most frequently mentioned are the B-17 Flying Fortress, the B-24 Liberator and the B-29 Superfortress. This is understandable, for those aeriai workhorses were produced in great numbers, served in nearly every theater of war, and formed the backbone of the U.S. Army Air Force's strategic bombing offensive against the Axis powers. It is equally understandable why the Consolidated B-32 Dominator is the least remembered particiĀpant in that great offensive, for the 115 production B-32s delivered to the Army Air Forces amounted to only slightly more than two-tenths of one percent of the 50,750 bombardment aircraft accepted from contractors during the Second World War.
