This course Seismic Data Processing Course using Python and GeoMage offers a comprehensive introduction to modern techniques in seismic reflection analysis. Designed for geoscientists, students, and engineers, the course bridges geophysical theory with hands-on programming experience. Participants learn to process raw seismic traces through essential steps such as deconvolution, filtering, Normal Moveout (NMO) correction, stacking, and migration. Using Python, students build modular workflows with open-source libraries and develop custom scripts to visualize wiggle plots, seismic sections, and attribute maps.A key highlight of the course is the use of GeoMage, a Python-based geophysical platform for seismic data processing and imaging.
