The Sturmgeschutz III was the culmination ol assault gun development in the German Army during World War Two. Originally designed in 1937 its an infantry support vehicle, the StuG III was armed with the same 7.5 cm KwK 37 L/24 gun mounted in the PzKpfw IV Ausf.
