This is a lecture style course that is dedicated to teaching the basic concepts needed to navigate the blockchain.This course isn't about making money although we will talk about the mediums and concepts that facilitate decentralized exchanged on the blockchain.This book is about what can be built on the blockchain and how it can help artists and creators in ways that current digital business models do not.

This course doesn't talk about any specific company to ensure the timelessness of the knowledge. The speed at which things are built on the blockchain is incredible and so referencing any specific tool or company, in these lessons, would make the content less scalable and less accessible.There is so much to be explored by incorporating blockchain technology into the internet to protect people's data and their intellectual property. There are so many more possibilities to be explored beyond the cloud with streaming and subscriptions and it's up to us to make those experiences fun and engaging.

The book for this course is called 'Gm Solana', and it was created after running a series of workshops on blockchain technology for artists.

This book won second place at the Solana Scribes competition in 2024 for a category in introducing learners to blockchain.
