Client scripts are SuiteScripts executed in the browser. They can run on most standard records, custom record types, and custom NetSuite pages.
Generally, client scripts are used to validate user-entered data and to auto-populate fields or sublists at various form events.
Form-level and Record-level Client Scripts
Form-based client scripts run against specific fields and forms. Record-level client scripts.
