Shan Boodram (born April 2, 1986) is TV personality, sex educator, dating expert, author and speaker with over 20 million views alongside her mainstream coverage across ABC’s “The View,” MTV, Fox News, CNN, The New York Times, Forbes and Time Magazine.

Known by her community as “Shan Boody,” Shan is currently the host of Facebook’s new expansion into original content with her show, Make Up or Break Up – a weekly, live relationship series where she interviews a couple on the brink of splitting in front of a studio audience that votes if the couple should remain together or, indeed, separate.

Boodram solidifies her status as a go-to for all things sex and relationships as the host of the Fullscreen series, Your Perfect Date, where she serves as a coach to help individuals in need of polished dating protocol. Its second season is currently streaming.

The Canadian native made headlines as the host of MTV’s Guide to Series and as a spokeswoman for Trojan lifestyle products, when she wore a skirt built out of her-pleasure condoms to the MTV VMAs red carpet. Her other business pleasure-ventures include a line of stylist necklaces that also function as on-demand vibrators.

Boodram is a best-selling author with her book, LAID, and is a contributing writer for Freeform (formerly ABC Family) Network’s The Bold Type series, a show that follows an up-and-coming reporter at a fictionalized Cosmopolitan Magazine. Boodram’s work for the show also currently appears in the original Cosmopolitan Magazine’s online destination.
