How are the Virtual Backlot buildings different from other Poser-formatted buildings? A balance of extreme realism and functional detail. The Virtual Backlot buildings make use of the same set creation principles as real-life motion pictures. Instead of loading down your scene with megabytes of interior detailing that is never seen in your final rendering, Virtual Backlot buildings focus the detail on the exterior of the structure, using posable elements such as shutters and signs in combination with large (2000 x 1500) hi resolution photographic and hand drawn textures. And speaking of textures, each building in the Virtual Backlot collection comes with 8 unique textures, each designed to work with the same texture set on other buildings. For example, texture type "a" is a rough-hewn sandy stone texture. Each building comes with an "a" texture variation. If you want to give several buildings the same appearance, simply select the "a" texture type for the specific building, position as desired, and you're all set. For added convenience, each base building figure is already textured and ready for placement. No need to select a different MAT pose every time you want to place a building. This convenience literally makes using the Virtual Backlot buildings as easy as clicking a mouse button. By using a variety of eight textures for each structure, you get an end result of 8 unique looking structures out of a single figure. For a single minipak with 4 base figures, that comes to 32 possible combinations! And, as an added convenience, each figure is created to be the same size, so entire sets can be built quickly and accurately in just a matter of minutes. Scaled to be compatible with the enormously popular Virtual Forest for Poser and Medieval Building Kit products, everything you need to create a detailed, realistic medieval environment is at your fingertips. Virtual Backlot Minipak #3 comes with the following buildings: 2 story inside/outside round tower adjustable corner, with posable sign, tower top, shutters and door, in 8 different textures 2 story inside corner, with overhanging canopy and 2nd story balcony, stone/iron fence and posable gate, shutters and doors, in 8 different textures 2 story straight building with overhanging 2nd story and supporting arch, and posable door and shutters, in 8 different textures 2 story straight building with small house section and a large alley/courtyard section. House section has posable door and shutters, while the alley/courtyard section has a wooden door and posable iron gates. Simply hide the object you don't want to use in your scene. Like every building in the Virtual Backlot series, it comes in 8 different textures cobblestone street figure. This can be used to provide extra ground cover or make an intersecting street or road.
