Kristin Elizabeth Cavallari (born January 5, 1987) is an American reality television personality and actress best known for her appearances in the MTV series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and its spin-off, The Hills.
Kristin was born to middle class parents in Denver. She is the middle child of three children. When her mother, Judith, divorced her father, Dennis, her older brother Mike moved with their father to Laguna Beach, California, while she and her now 13 year old sister, Peighton, moved with their mother to the village of Barrington, Illinois, a suburb an hour northwest of Chicago. After dificulties adjusting to a new life with a stepfather and stepbrother, Kristin and Peighton Cavallari moved to California to live with their father and brother instead. Kristin was enrolled at Santa Margarita Catholic High School for her freshman year. After she attended a Driver's Education course through Laguna Beach High School, her father enrolled her in LBHS
