    Sian Welby, 24, was working as a shop assistant at high street store New Look when she got the call to say she had landed the job on the flagship news programme.
    Despite having no experience of presenting the weather, she jumped at the chance of bringing some sunshine into millions of homes.
    Sian, from Newark, Nottinghamshire, is very excited about her new challenge.
    She said: “I couldn’t believe it when I was told Channel 5 was interested in me as the new weathergirl"
