With ‘Second Nature’, electronic artist Klangwelt (German for “world of sound”) presents an electronic album full of impressive surprises – a delightful combination of traditional elements in the style of Jean Michel Jarre with extraordinary modern sounds that make you sit up and take notice, released via Spheric Music on 23 May 2025
Choirs, beats, samples, sequences, arpeggios and melodies merge into twelve fascinating tracks. Buttery-soft ambient passages develop into rhythmically powerful pieces, melancholic ballads alternate with brilliant sequencer passages or rocking synth and electric guitar riffs. Of course, the bizarrely distorted vocal samples and innovative sound effects familiar from Klangwelt are also present, lending everything a surreal, dreamlike atmosphere. A fascinating highlight of melodic EM, which also knows how to inspire with its powerful, dynamic sound.
