"A right understanding of Paap & Punya is being imparted in India to people right
from infancy. When a small kid hits a mosquito the mother will immediately shout at
him in anguish, “No, don't kill mosquito. You will charge paap karma”. You should act
like this or shouldn't do that because you will charge paap karma is heard quite often
since childhood days. At times, people cry in sufferings and ask the All Mighty, “ O
God, I don't know what evil (paap) karma have I charged that I am being punished as
such?” If good things happen, one says, “I am really punyashali.” So the words punya
