Luke Vallory had success on the opening weekend on White Swan landing The Grey One. On the same venue, Alex West captured one of the rare ones known as Darren’s Linear. Chris Eaglestone and Will ward both bagged upper forties from the in-form Essex Manor, and Ian Allen smashes the Nar Valley record. Ryan Horner nets a 45lb 15oz common from the Twynersh complex that’s gone uncaught since 2016. Up north, Louis Watt landed Black Spot from Erics Willows on an overnighter and Stewart Carr banked Mr Angry from Clifton Marina.

Friends, family and contributors say farewell to Carp-Talk and our very own Crowy lands an ex-Redmire fish.
