We are getting to that time of year where we are happy to see the lighter nights and little signs of spring in the blooming of snow drops; it feels like it has been quite a long winter!

Hopefully our March issue will perk you up even more, we have lots to share! With new seasons on our mind we take a look at eight expected trends for the year ahead, from wabi sabi to colour block walls.

We look at all the important aspects of the bathroom this month, with a selection of design led showers and baths that not only get the job done but also add to the overall look of the room, as well as basins and taps, and suitable walls and floors for this wet room in the home. Our hallways and entrances feature will have you thinking of this space in a different light, giving you tips on décor and creating the illusion of added space with your colour choices, as well as a selection of furniture and practicalities.

Our readers’ homes take us off to Cullybackey, County Antrim to Noelene’s elegant family home which has been lovingly decorated. Further south we visit Jane and John in Castlecomer, County Kilkenny to see their stunningly renovated Victorian, former estate managers home, and last but not least we have a sympathetically renovated terrace home in Dublin that is now double its original size.

Within our feature regulars we travel to Cardiff to discover what it has to offer, and further afield we visit Seattle to celebrate the new direct flight from Dublin by Aer Lingus. Enjoy some deliciously healthy recipes from Hollie Grant’s The Model Method, and learn all about introverted planting from our gardening expert Deirdre Prince.
