Lonely Planet Asia - June 2017

It’s amazing how much of the year has already gone by and yet how little of the world we’ve covered in Lonely Planet Asia. We hope to continue to bring exotic locales to our readers in the upcoming months, starting with a trip to our cover story destination – Okinawa, a side of Japan you may not know exists with its coral-fringed islands evocative of other tropical destinations. Speaking of tropical destinations, we’ve also included a Great Escape to Florida. Beyond the usual crowds on beaches, we’re also introducing the Sunshine State as the home of Cuban émigrés, sea mammals and the ghost of Ernest Hemingway in Key West.
