Patchwork & Quilting UK - August 2017
English | 100 pages | True PDF | 17.2 MB

As usual our wonderful contributors have done us proud in this issue with some great projects. Our cover quilt, Japanese Parasols, features an oriental collection from Makower. The Starburst Flower Cushion will help you stretch your skills but if you are looking for an easier project, then look no further than the Francis Table Runner and Mats and the Blue Lagoon quilt. Practice your embroidery skills in the delightful wall hanging, Home is Where the Honey is. We have also reached the last part of our miniseries quilt, Tulips.

Your reading material this month includes a review of the recent National Quilt Championships at Sandown Racecourse and a look at ‘As Good as it Gets’, this year’s exhibition at the Jen Jones Quilt Centre. Helen met talented quilter Trease Lane in Meet a Quilter and we discover more about the difficulties new mothers face in Quilts for Nepal. We find out more about Gwent Quilters in Introducing…. and Beverley Hughes shows us her First and Last quilts.
