In this first issue of 2018, we delve into the world of ‘Transformation’. The need of the hour being to bring in a radical and profound change in the Industrial Sector. Often Management does not feel the need to communicate with their blue collar workers, resulting in setbacks and Communication gaps. If Communication is
the key for progressive industrial relations, employees/ workers need to be invited to speak their minds so as to set up a two-way communication system which could
lead to greater understanding between management and workers.
The nature of today’s Workforce is ‘change’. It is estimated that by 2019, up to 50 percent of the workforce will be ‘Agile’. Today’s Liquid Workforce demands a
culture which enhances their talents to achieve its full potential; hiring people is one thing, retaining them is another! A talented workforce is a foundation when
building a business. Choosing the right people ensures the growth of a corporation; however, right talent will come at a cost, not just be of monetary value; employee
engagement is an equally important component for earning loyalty and respect from employees.
