PzKpfw Panther Ausf.A

The Panzerbewehlswagen Panther (SdKfz 267) preserved presently at the Panzermuseum Munster, Germany. It was built by Maschinenfabrik-Augs-burg-Nurnberg (MAN) in February, 1944, as a Panther Ausf. A, chassis number (Fgst. Nr.) 210767. Later, the vehicle was rebuilt into a command tank by removing the co-axial machine gun and installing the additional Fu 8 radio set with associated antennas and generator. The wartime fate of this vehicle is unknown. After the war, it was sold by France to Sweden, arriving in the port of Stockholm in June, 1947.
