30 RC4WD 1:18 GELANDE II D90 RTR
Take a proven scaler like the 1:10 Gelande II model then make it
smaller. That is basically what RC4WD has done with their new
1:18-scale model that comes with three body options. John Weston
got his hands on the D90 option that bases its looks on an iconic
British 4x4.
36 LOSI SUPER BAJA REY
Losi has gone big with high performance too with their new Super
Baja Rey desert truck. The 1:6-scale is capable of speeds over
50mph and is equipped with a long travel solid four-link rear axle
and independent front wishbone suspension. We couldn’t wait to
unleash the beast and had some huge fun with the truck in the
sand pit.
56 RAGE R10ST
This is a new brand to Racer, but we had no worries about the
quality of the products bearing in mind their pedigree. The R10ST
is their stadium truck offering that comes as an RTR. Powered
by a brushless system, you also get waterproof electronics and a
LiPo compatible speed controller should you wish to upgrade in
the future.

The 2018 national season in 1:10 off-road would continue where
it left off last year as once again, Neil Cragg and Lee Martin
battled it out for 2WD and 4WD honours although there were some
new faces in the top tens as well as some up and coming stars
knocking on their doors!
67 OLDIES BUT GOODIES

earliest 4WD Iconic off-road class and the cars that make up the

AYK, PB Racing and Zerda.
