The eighth Hot English Magazine takes a look at relations between the UK and the US, the similarities and differences between them and plenty of bizarre traditions from both sides of the Atlantic. There's a feature about a traditional British activity - gardening, and an article dealing with a traditional American activity - going to a Hooters Bar to be served beer and pizza by scantly clad waitresses!
This months Hot Song is "End of the Affair" by the American group "Milton and the Devil's Party" - you can listen to it on the CD along with all the usual features dealing with the English Language (Dr Fingers, Phrasal Verbs, Bar Chat, Business Dialogues etc.).
