Tésis Ársis, second album, Estado de Alerta Máximo. Anderson Rodriguez, continues in a similar vein to the debut Ilusoes but with a more refined sound. Just like the debut, this album contains five “suites” of epic instrumental symphonic music. Anderson draws from the same well as the 70's greats to give us a very memorable album, that I believe, will be remembered for years to come. The unfortunate thing about it, it’ll probably only be remembered by a select few such as myself. Hopefully not!
This is one of the stronger releases that I’ve heard in a long time, especially by a lesser known independent I’d even go as far to say that it’s stronger than most of the more well known prog/ symphonic acts. I can’t wait to hear what Anderson has in store for future releases, whether as Tésis Ársis, or as a solo artist or even a part of a group.
Just like their debut, I’d highly recommend Estado de Alerta Máximo to all fans of instrumental progressive and symphonic rock. If you haven’t purchased the debut, treat yourself to both releases today. Your ears will thank you for years to come. ~ Reviewed by Ron Fuchs
