Note: No official CD was released, these are some demo versions of the songs written by Sir Elton John sung by Elton.

As the Broadway run for Lestat sadly came to an end, I'm offering you some of the wonderful songs from the musical. I believe this is a work of art underrated (by the "skillful" critics) which will be cherished by the generations to come!!! Pitifully, our generation has been deprived of more strokes of genius by Elton John!!!

This is what Sir Elton said after the musical's critics-driven flop:

"There's no point in doing a musical that's not a risk."

"I always try to do risky things. I'm not interested in doing Yellow Brick Road: The Musical. Those kinds of things don't interest me."

"I'm interested in breaking new ground, writing different things for the stage - and I think we've done it with this."
