Warren Bernhardt - Reflections (1992) | EAC LAME CBR 320 kbps | mp3 | 150 mb Another 'unsung' jazz album from the ninetees “A fine soloist who is influenced by Bill Evans but has his own musical identity, Warren Bernhardt has appeared in many different settings through the years. He studied classical piano, played in Chicago while attending college, and was with Paul Winter's sextet during 1961-1964. After moving to New York, Bernhardt was with Gerry Mulligan, Clark Terry, George Benson, and Jeremy Steig, in addition to doubling as a studio musician on many pop dates. He was with Jack DeJohnette's Directions (1976) and Steps Ahead (1984-1985), and has frequently led his own trios. Bernhardt has recorded several fine dates for DMP. - Scott Yanow, All Music Guide "This is some serious music, this music that comes out of Warren's creative soul. There is so much beautiful technical purity in his music. There is so much exploration of range on the piano, range that often goes unnoticed & unplayed by other musicians. Like many others, I don't understand why this marvelous musician isn't getting serious, repeated air time on jazz stations around the world. For such gentleness, such depth of emotion, such explorative & concentrated music to go unnoticed is nearly criminal."” Track List: 01 Everytime We Say Goodbye 02 Stone Ground 03 Some Other Spring 04 Cordobalgia 05 Reflections 06 Tuzz's Shadow 07 Re- Person I Knew 08 My Funny Valentine 09 The Gift 10 Catwalk 11 A Prayer For My Family + Covers http://rapidshare.de/files/10893289/Warbern.part1.rar http://rapidshare.de/files/10893311/Warbern.part2.rar http://rapidshare.de/files/10896166/Warbern.part3.rar Password: www.AvaxHome.ru This is the third jazz album I've uploaded since yesterday -- ironically one name serves a commonality between the three -- these musicians have at one time or another worked with George Benson!
