Autodesk Inventor Nastran 2026.1

Autodesk has announced the release of Inventor Nastran 2026.1 is delivers finite element analysis (FEA) tools for engineers and analysts. Simulation covers multiple analysis types, such as linear and non-linear stress, dynamics and heat transfer.


In this release, the new features and enhancements include:
- Improved Stability and Accuracy in Radiation Model Results for Thermal Analyses.
- Deformation Scale Option added to Default Report Generation Settings.
- Custom names for global ply are now available in the drop-down menu when creating a laminate.
- The Continuous Meshing checkbox will be automatically unchecked in the Mesh dialog after you select to proceed without Continuous Meshing following a meshing failure.


- Allowed special characters \ / : * ? \" < > | in analysis names and fixed the issue preventing the OK button click when these characters are used.
- Resolved issue where convergence didn't refine the mesh.
- Resolved issue where reports generated for Normal Modes analyses used incorrect filenames.
- Resolved issue where Percent Modal Effective Mass graphs were missing the last mode in the generated report.
